William Denning

William Denning, the founding member of Denning Law Firm, LLC, established his practice in Belton, Missouri, after over a decade as a partner at a prominent civil defense firm in the Kansas City area. Known as "Willie" to friends and family, he leveraged nearly fifteen years of experience representing insurance companies and their insureds to advocate for individuals who have been injured or wronged.

William's extensive background in working with insurance companies has equipped him with a deep understanding of how these entities evaluate, negotiate, and defend claims. This expertise enables him to effectively negotiate and litigate against insurance companies, providing a level playing field for his clients.

He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in both federal and state courts, including several multi-million dollar cases. William has also argued before the Kansas Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals in both Kansas and Missouri. His practice extends throughout Missouri and Kansas, with a primary focus on personal and catastrophic injury, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, trucking/transportation liability, premises liability (slip and fall), and medical/professional liability.

In addition to his state court admissions, William is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, as well as the 10th Circuit and 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Outside his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, their two daughters, and two dogs.
