German Alonso Gonzalez Herrera

German A. Gonzalez Herrera leads the Gonzalez Herrera Law Firm, focusing on immigration law, traffic violations, and family law. As the managing attorney, he dedicates himself to representing individuals and families, ensuring they understand their legal rights and options.

Mr. Gonzalez Herrera holds law degrees from Spain and Colombia and completed a Master’s Degree in Fundamental Rights in Madrid. He furthered his education with an LL.M. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. After moving to the United States, he established his practice to support immigrant communities.

His expertise includes family-based immigration, VAWA and U visa petitions, asylum, removal defense, and cancellation of removal. He also handles municipal law and family law cases, prioritizing clear communication on legal procedures and outcomes.

Beyond his private practice, Mr. Gonzalez Herrera is active in community education and pro bono work. He collaborates with organizations aiding immigrant families and has initiated a mentorship program with the Hispanic Bar Association of St. Louis. He is an Adjunct Professor and attorney advisor for LL.M. students at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

He serves on the boards of the Hispanic Bar Association of St. Louis, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Kansas–Missouri Chapter, the Hispanic Leaders Group, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in St. Louis. His work has earned him numerous leadership and service accolades.
