About Jenny Jourdonnais
Jenny Jourdonnais embarked on her legal journey after a decade-long career in the financial services sector, where she held a Vice President position at a national bank. In 2008, she decided to pursue her dream of law by attending the University of Montana School of Law. During law school, she actively participated in regional and national moot court competitions and established an externship with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Montana. She also briefed and argued a wrongful foreclosure pro se appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Upon graduating, Jenny joined Garlington, Lohn & Robinson, PLLP in Missoula, Montana, where she developed a robust practice in banking and general commercial litigation. Her banking experience provided a strong foundation for her legal career.
In 2014, Jenny co-founded the law firm Hansberry & Jourdonnais with Chuck Hansberry, a seasoned Montana attorney and mentor. Together, they strive to create a law firm that puts clients first, emphasizes collaboration, and embraces alternative fee arrangements over traditional billing methods.
Jenny's practice encompasses creditors' rights, banking, finance, secured transactions, real estate, and general commercial litigation. She resides in Missoula with her husband Craig and their blended family, which includes three U.S. Marines, a high school honor student, an engineer, a nurse, a fitness instructor, and an adventurer in overseas private security. Outside of her legal practice, Jenny enjoys Montana's outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, gardening, biking, hiking, and occasionally hunting.
