Jessie Lundberg

Jessie Lundberg has built a robust career in Consumer Protection and financial education, based in Anaconda, Montana. She began her journey as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow with the Montana Legal Services Association's Consumer Unit, where she managed the self-help bankruptcy program and assisted low-income Montanans with consumer law issues. Her commitment to consumer rights extended to her role as an American Bar Association Janet Steiger Antitrust Fellow at the Montana Attorney General's Office, Office of Consumer Protection.

Jessie is a nationally-certified financial educator and foreclosure prevention specialist with Homeword. Her passion for financial literacy led her to help establish the Montana Financial Education Coalition and the Montana Alliance for Responsible Finance, both aimed at promoting financial education and fair lending practices. She also played a key role in drafting and lobbying for anti-predatory lending laws in the Montana Legislature.

In addition to her consumer protection work, Jessie has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Montana School of Law, teaching Products Liability. Her legal experience is further enriched by her clerkships at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, under Hon. James R. Browning and Hon. Sidney R. Thomas. She has also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Montana Law Review from 2007 to 2008 and led the Jessup International Moot Court team as captain. Her clinical internship with Hon. Donald Molloy at the U.S. District Court, District of Montana, further honed her legal skills.

Jessie is admitted to practice in all Montana state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Montana, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is an active member of the State Bar of Montana, the Montana Trial Lawyers' Association, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Since 2013, she has contributed to the advisory board for the Montana Law Review.

Outside of her professional commitments, Jessie enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her daughter, Bianca. Her love for music includes singing and playing old honky tonk songs on her guitar and fiddle, as well as composing new ones. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she relishes in hiking and fishing, embracing the natural beauty of Montana.
