Hector E. Quiroga

Hector E. Quiroga serves as both an immigration attorney and a professor at Gonzaga University Law School. His journey began when he immigrated to the United States in January 2000, arriving with no English proficiency but a strong determination to pursue a career in immigration law. Hector undertook various jobs, from unloading trucks to washing dishes, to support himself while mastering English and settling in Spokane, Washington.

Hector earned his degree with honors and attended Gonzaga School of Law, graduating at the top of his class. During his time there, he was actively involved in the University Moot Court, where he received distinguished awards. His personal experience with the immigration process fuels his passion for helping others achieve the American Dream, having himself transitioned from visa holder to green card recipient and eventually becoming a U.S. citizen.

In 2009, Hector founded the Quiroga Law Office, PLLC with his wife, who is also an immigration attorney. The firm, located in Spokane and Tri Cities, employs 25 people, including seven lawyers, all dedicated to supporting and protecting immigrants. Hector's personal and professional experiences make him a compelling advocate for those navigating the complexities of immigration law.

Outside of his legal work, Hector is a devoted husband and father, and he enjoys coaching a youth soccer team. His commitment to his community and clients reflects his deep understanding of the immigrant experience.
