Eric Goldberg

Eric Goldberg, recognized as a “Certified Elder Law Attorney” (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, which is accredited by the American Bar Association, is the founder and principal attorney at the NJ Elder Law Center at Goldberg Law Group in Clifton, New Jersey. Eric is committed to providing personalized legal services, developing customized plans that address the unique needs and objectives of his clients in long-term care and estate planning.

With a Bachelor of Science in Business from Cornell University (1990) and a law degree from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (1994), Eric combines his extensive education with a compassionate approach. His deep understanding of finance, tax law, and government benefits positions him as a highly qualified advisor for navigating the intricacies of estate and long-term care planning.

Before embarking on his legal career, Eric spent ten years in the financial markets on Wall Street. This experience provides him with unique insights into the financial challenges associated with long-term care expenses, enabling him to offer effective solutions for his clients' financial security concerns.

Eric actively contributes to the legal community as co-chair of the Elder Law Section of the Essex County Bar Association and is a member of Elder Counsel and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is known for fostering collaboration not only with clients but also with other professionals involved in elder care, special needs, and veterans' services, earning him the trust of his clients as both a legal counselor and a family friend.
