Cassie Murphy

Cassie Murphy, a Partner at Paone, Zaleski & Murphy, concentrates her practice on family law, child custody, and divorce. As a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney, she has demonstrated exceptional experience, education, and skill, having passed a rigorous examination and earned peer recognition. Ms. Murphy is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. She actively participates in the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and served as co-chair of the Young Lawyers Section during 2016-2017. Additionally, she was a Trustee for the Monmouth County Legal Aid Society from 2017 to 2019. Her excellence in family law was recognized with the Martin Goldin Award in January 2018, and she was named a Top Lawyer in Monmouth County by Monmouth Health & Life Magazine in 2018.

As an Associate Editor for the New Jersey Family Lawyer, a publication of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Section, Ms. Murphy has contributed several articles, including “Cohabitation and the Amended Alimony Statute: Has the Economic Needs Standard Been Replaced?” published in June 2016. She has also presented at numerous seminars on family law topics and was recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2013 to 2019.
