Dennis M. Baptista

Dennis M. Baptista, a Certified Workers Compensation Law Attorney, brings over thirty years of dedicated experience to his practice. Known for his integrity and expertise, he has successfully litigated numerous complex workers compensation cases. These include claims related to accidental injuries, occupational diseases, repetitive motion injuries, total permanent disability, and work-related deaths. Notably, he secured an Appellate Division decision in Medical Diagnostic Associates vs. Hawruluk, which protects injured workers from being sued by medical providers for unpaid bills during ongoing workers compensation litigation.

For more than ten years, Mr. Baptista has been an Instructor at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, where he educates fellow attorneys on handling workers' compensation claims effectively.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Baptista has been a prominent leader in his community. He served as Judge of the Phillipsburg Municipal Court for a decade. Before his judicial role, he dedicated ten years as Commissioner of the Phillipsburg Housing Authority, where he worked to ensure safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for the area's working poor. Under his leadership, the Housing Authority consistently achieved "High Performer" status, HUD's highest possible rating.
