About Sheryl J. Seiden
Sheryl J. Seiden, founding partner of Seiden Family Law, LLC in Cranford, New Jersey, is a distinguished matrimonial attorney. Licensed to practice in New Jersey since December 1996 and New York since June 1997, Sheryl has focused exclusively on family law since 2000. Her expertise has earned her recognition as a Best Lawyer in America since 2015, along with accolades as a Super Lawyer and one of the Top 100 Lawyers in New Jersey since 2018.
Sheryl has played a significant role in the New Jersey State Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Family Law Section from May 2019 to May 2020. She has been actively involved with the Family Law Executive Committee (FLEC) since 2008, previously co-chairing the Young Lawyer Family Law Subcommittee. Her dedication extends to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) New Jersey Chapter, where she will serve as Secretary starting June 2021.
In November 2014, Sheryl represented AAML as Amicus Curiae in the landmark case Gnall v. Gnall before the Supreme Court of New Jersey. She is a frequent speaker and moderator at the Family Law Symposium, addressing critical topics such as Child Support, Alimony, and Parental Alienation.
