About Eric Hannum
Eric B. Hannum, Esquire embarked on his legal journey at the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia. As a law student, he served as President of the Federalist Society and engaged in the Family Law Mediation Center, mediating various cases for the Philadelphia Family Court.
After earning his Juris Doctorate in 2003, Mr. Hannum became a Law Clerk to the Honorable Laura M. LeWinn, the Presiding Family Part Judge in Mercer County, New Jersey, for the 2004-2005 court term. During this period, he prepared tentative decisions and mediated cases suitable for resolution through mediation.
Following his clerkship, Mr. Hannum joined the Princeton-based law firm of Pellettieri, Rabstein & Altman as an associate attorney. He also coached The Lawrenceville School's Mock Trial Team, leading them to a second-place finish in Mercer County at the Vincent J. Apruzzese Mock Trial Competition, marking the school's best performance in a decade.
In 2007, Mr. Hannum opened his own practice in partnership with Judy M. Lansing, Esquire, in Jackson, New Jersey. He is an active member of the Ocean County Bar Association, the Monmouth-Ocean County Family Law Inns of Court, and the American Bar Association. Additionally, he is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, serving on its Privacy Law Committee, and participates in the Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and the Jersey Shore Business Network.
