Monica Yanna Balyasny

Monica Yanna Balyasny is a skilled attorney practicing in both Florida and New York. She is fluent in English and Russian, providing her with a unique ability to serve a diverse clientele. Her academic journey began at John Jay College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2012.

Following her undergraduate studies, Monica relocated to South Florida to pursue her legal education at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. She graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2018, focusing on Health Law. During her time at Nova, she was actively involved in the Jewish Law Society Association and the Pulse Health Law Society. Monica also contributed to her community through her involvement with the Jewish National Fund and the Jewish Federation.

Monica's legal experience spans various fields, including immigration and criminal defense. She honed her skills in legal research and writing, producing complex briefs and motions. Upon completing her law degree, she began drafting legal documents for multiple law firms, handling both State and Federal Court cases.
