Benjamin A. Goldburd

Benjamin A. Goldburd is a partner at the law firm of Goldburd McCone LLP, based in New York City. He specializes in tax law, encompassing business and consumer tax matters, as well as cannabis law, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counsel. With over eight years of experience, Mr. Goldburd provides strategic representation to clients in New York, New Jersey, Florida, California, and internationally.

Mr. Goldburd is recognized for his diligent advocacy and commitment to his clients' needs. He graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, earning dean's list honors. During his time there, he served as editor-in-chief of the Brooklyn College Pre-Law Journal and chief political editor of the Brooklyn College Night Call Journal. He was also active in the Brooklyn College Accounting Society.

Pursuing a legal career, Mr. Goldburd earned his Juris Doctor from the Fordham University School of Law, where he participated as a student attorney in the university’s tax clinic. His exceptional legal service has earned him recognition as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Tax Lawyers in New York by the American Society of Legal Advocates.

Mr. Goldburd holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the New York State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in New York and is licensed before the Supreme Court of New York, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
