Mary Frances Kelly

Mary Frances Kelly, a founding member of Kelly & Knaplund, has been a prominent figure in family law throughout Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess, and New York counties since 1978. Her contributions include serving as a charter member of the New York State Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children since 1988, advocating for essential court reforms in family law. Additionally, she has been part of the Ninth Judicial District Gender Fairness Committee since 1994.

A respected leader, Ms. Kelly was President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York from 1987 to 1988 and led the Westchester Women’s Bar Association from 1981 to 1982. Her expertise was further recognized when Presiding Justice Mangano appointed her as Chair of the Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District of New York from 1998 to 2000.
