Donald Moser

Donald Moser has been a prominent figure in the legal community of Butler County, specializing in family and marital law for over three decades. His practice encompasses a wide range of services, including preparing Wills and other estate planning documents. Prior to 1994, he gained extensive experience working with various law firms.

Since 2002, Donald has been fully trained and qualified as a collaborative law lawyer. His court experience is extensive, having served as co-counsel in three capital murder cases and participated in numerous civil and criminal jury trials. He has also handled thousands of civil and other court hearings, providing consultations and representation for clients with diverse legal needs.

In 2013, Donald was honored with the Professionalism Award by the Butler County Bar Association, recognizing his dedicated service to the legal profession and his leadership within the community. He was the first attorney in private practice to receive this annual award.

Donald has contributed to the legal community as a speaker at continuing legal education seminars, most recently addressing family law in 2011 and landlord-tenant law in 2012. He also served as an on-air speaker and off-air advisor for Howard Ain on CBS Channel 12 TV News and WLW 700 radio from 1996 to 1997.

From 2011 to 2013, Donald held the positions of President and Immediate Past President of the Butler County Bar Association. He also served part-time as a Magistrate for the Fairfield Municipal Court for 30 years.

Donald earned his J.D. in 1985 from the College of William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he received the Dean’s Award. He completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in 1981, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Computer Science. Additionally, he was an Adjunct Professor at Miami University, Oxford Campus, teaching Mass Media Law in the Communications Department from 1988 to 1989.
