Rhys J. Richards

At the age of 13, Rhys J. Richards attended a civil rights march to Music Hall on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with his Aunt Megan, who has been his law practice partner throughout his career. This experience ignited his enduring interest in civil rights. While studying at Bowling Green State University, majoring in English and History and minoring in Africana Studies, Rhys considered a future as either an English professor or an attorney. However, a summer internship at a Southwestern Ohio injury firm solidified his passion for advocating civil rights and ensuring access to justice through legal avenues.

In 2007, Rhys began his legal career, focusing on Personal Injury Law, Negligence Law, Employer Intentional Torts, Employer Violations of Specific Safety Requirements, and Products Liability. He is known for his client-centered approach, leveraging his expertise to identify the right experts for each case and striving for the best outcomes. Rhys is committed to transparency and open communication, ensuring clients understand the legal process and feel supported.

The Richards Firm was established in April 2000, aiming to provide a personal and trusted legal experience in Hamilton, Ohio. The office is conveniently located downtown, close to the rural areas of Ross, Ohio, where Rhys grew up working in agriculture.

Outside of his legal practice, Rhys resides near Cincinnati and actively contributes to his community. He has served as a youth hockey coach with the Northern Kentucky Youth Hockey Association and participates on various local boards.
