Raised in Oklahoma, Jay T. Chaney honed his leadership skills early on as Captain of the varsity soccer team at Mustang Public Schools. He pursued his passion for soccer at Southern Nazarene University on a scholarship from 1995 to 1998, serving as the starting goalkeeper and team Captain. In 1998, he earned Honorable Mention All-American recognition before playing professional soccer in Canada.
Jay completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Central Oklahoma. He then embarked on a career with the Oklahoma City Police Department as a 911 Supervisor.
