Irina S Batrakova

Irina S Batrakova, originally from the former Soviet Union, was selected in 1994 to join the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State under the Freedom Support Act of 1992, she was among 1,200 students chosen to foster understanding between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union.

Irina graduated cum laude from Portland State University in 2000 and earned her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2004. She began her legal career at Samuels Yoelin Kantor LLP in Portland, Oregon, focusing on business and family-based immigration. She later advanced to Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart PC in Raleigh, NC, where she advised Fortune 500 companies on business visas and immigration compliance.

In 2012, Irina founded TBLO, further establishing her expertise in immigration law. Recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009 and 2010, she frequently speaks at Oregon State Bar events and conferences, addressing topics such as work visas, business immigration, and diversity in the legal community.

Irina serves as an Executive Committee member and is a Past Chair of the Corporate Counsel Section of the Oregon State Bar. She has also been an advisory committee member on Diversity and Inclusion with the Oregon State Bar.
