Robert LeChevallier

Rob Le Chevallier brings extensive experience in business law, estate planning, trust administration, and real estate law. As corporate counsel, he advises a diverse range of manufacturing and service companies. Known in the Portland area as “the legal profession’s equivalent of a midwife,” Rob has facilitated the formation of numerous businesses.

Rob places a strong emphasis on the estate planning needs of business owners, crafting plans that address succession issues often overlooked by those focused on their enterprises. He prepares comprehensive estate plans for business owners, high net-worth individuals, and their families, with a focus on succession planning.

In his business planning practice, Rob assists with the organization of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and professional corporations. He also provides general counsel services, including contracts, leases, buy-sell agreements, and employee issues. His expertise extends to shareholder transactions, loan transactions, business acquisitions and dissolutions, real estate agreements, and non-profit entities.

In the realm of estate planning, Rob handles business succession, wills, trusts, living trusts, life insurance trusts, tax planning, trust administration, and probate.

His professional achievements include being named an Oregon Super Lawyers Honoree from 2018 to 2020 and receiving the AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®. He was also recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2012 and 2014.

Rob's community involvement includes serving as Past-President of Buckley Law, the Lake Oswego Rotary Club, and the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce. He co-founded the Kruse Way Economic Forum and has been a past board member of Our Lady of the Lake Church. Additionally, he served in the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates from 2002 to 2012.

Outside of his professional life, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, Denise, their five children, and five grandchildren.
