Timothy Patrick Brennan

Timothy Patrick Brennan began his career in the Lehigh Valley, serving as a Solicitor for both Bethlehem and Northampton County. Today, he resides in Doylestown and contributes to his community as a member of the Doylestown Borough Council. Raised in the coal region, Mr. Brennan gained early experience working in his family's local restaurant.

Mr. Brennan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ursinus College, where he graduated in 2000 with a double major in English and Politics, and a double minor in International Relations and American Studies. During his undergraduate studies, he completed internships with Congressman Joe Hoeffel and Congressman Tim Holden.

In 2003, Mr. Brennan earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, graduating cum laude. He was a leadership scholar and a senior member of the Law Review, receiving the Widener Law Journal Outstanding Student Article Award for his work on Pennsylvania's redistricting. His academic journey also included studies at Trinity College in Dublin and Charles University in Prague.

Mr. Brennan's legal career includes roles with a large defense office and the Governor's Office of General Counsel. In 2005, he was appointed Assistant Solicitor for the City of Bethlehem, followed by his appointment as Solicitor for the Northampton County Controller in 2008, and as Assistant Solicitor for Northampton County in 2018.

An accomplished author, Mr. Brennan has published works on equine law and redistricting law. He has presented arguments before the Commonwealth Court and lectured at the Dickinson School of Law and for the Pennsylvania Bar Association. His expertise is recognized through his recent certification as a specialist in workers' settlement law by the PA Bar Association Workers' Compensation Law Section, authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Mr. Brennan is also active in various charitable, legal, political, religious, and community organizations. He frequently appears on local and national media platforms, sharing his legal insights.
