Ron Calhoon

Growing up in a union household, inspired by a father who led a national labor union, Ron Calhoon has devoted his career to advocating for employees who have suffered work-related injuries. His practice is focused exclusively on representing workers in compensation proceedings, driven by a passion for protecting employee rights.

Ron has spent over 24 years successfully representing thousands of clients seeking benefits under the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act. After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1985, he earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1988. He is a member of the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group.

Certified as a specialist in workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law, Ron has also served as Chairman of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Section on Workers' Compensation. He frequently lectures on employee rights for various legal and employee organizations.

Ron has successfully litigated hundreds of cases, establishing legal precedents in Pennsylvania's Appellate Courts, including landmark cases before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. His advocacy extends to his role in the formation of the Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers, where he serves on the Board of Directors.

Recognized for his excellence, Ron was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2014 and for several years prior. He is regarded as a leading figure in workers' compensation law.
