Angel Torres

Angel Torres has established himself as a trusted advocate for clients navigating the challenging journey to secure Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Acknowledging the increasing trend of higher denial rates, Angel is committed to ensuring his clients are well-informed and comfortable throughout the process. He offers personalized attention, listening to each client's unique needs, ensuring they never feel like just another case number.

Angel's academic credentials include an undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and a law degree from The Ohio State University. Born in Puerto Rico, he has called Lancaster home since he was eight years old. His service in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, where he attained the rank of corporal and received an honorable discharge, underscores his dedication to service.

During his time in law school, Angel demonstrated his commitment to helping others by working at Ohio State’s Student Housing Legal Clinic, offering free legal assistance to students facing housing challenges. He further extended his community service as Treasurer and Chair of the Spanish American Civics Association, a nonprofit organization providing essential services such as food, mental health support, and vocational training.

Angel has volunteered at various community centers, offering pro bono legal advice and conducting educational presentations for professionals, injured workers, and the disabled, both in English and Spanish. His professional affiliations include membership in the National Association for Disability Representatives (NADR) and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives (NOSSCR).

In addition to his legal practice, Angel has contributed to the legal community as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates and the Lancaster Bar Association Board of Directors. As a native Spanish speaker, he effectively serves a diverse clientele.
