Steven Johnson

Steven Johnson, a native of South Dakota, was born in Sioux Falls. He pursued his undergraduate education at Augustana College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1973. He then earned his law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1976, where he was a distinguished member of both the Thomas Sterling Honor Society and the South Dakota Law Review. Steve remains actively involved with the South Dakota School of Law as a frequent lecturer.

His professional affiliations are notable, including membership in the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, where he has contributed as a lecturer at national meetings.

Steven has held the position of past president of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and was honored as the South Dakota Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1990. His expertise in civil litigation, particularly in franchise litigation, products liability, and medical malpractice, has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for ten consecutive years.
