Amber F. Stephens hails from Halls, Tennessee, a small town in Lauderdale County. After graduating from Halls High School in 2000, she pursued higher education at Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee, from 2000 to 2003. She then transferred to the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated cum laude in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Continuing her legal education, Ms. Stephens earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2008.
