About Jason Lee Van Dyke
Jason Lee Van Dyke was born in Troy, Michigan and relocated to Texas in 2001 to pursue his undergraduate studies at the University of Dallas, where he earned a B.A. in Politics in 2003. He continued his education at Stetson University College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor and a certificate in advocacy in 2006.
After returning to Texas, he was admitted to the bar on February 8, 2007. Since then, Mr. Van Dyke has served as general counsel for various companies in the credit and collections industry such as Langbert Financial, Inc., Haller Harlan & Taylor, CMB & Associates, Tucker Albin & Associates, and White Jacobs & Associates.
Currently, Mr. Van Dyke is an associate attorney at The Marsala Law Group, focusing on criminal defense, civil litigation, and bankruptcy. Besides Texas, he is also licensed to practice in Colorado, Georgia, and the District of Columbia, as well as before federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Van Dyke is passionate about hunting and shooting. He holds certifications as a Grand Master Waterfowl Hunter by the Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge and as a distinguished expert in pistol by the National Rifle Association of America. He is also a certified pistol instructor and range safety officer with the NRA.
His memberships include an endowment life membership in the NRA and regular memberships in the Texas State Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Dallas Safari Club, and the Texas Trophy Hunters Association. Currently, he is working towards completing his first "Grand Slam" of wild turkeys and preparing for his first Elk hunt. Mr. Van Dyke also enjoys riding motorcycles and playing D&D Beyond.
