About Jon Samuel Sipes
Jon Samuel Sipes hails from El Paso, Texas, where he was born and raised. He began his educational journey at Radford School and then attended Fountain Valley School of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Pursuing higher education, he enrolled at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, a Quaker-affiliated institution, where he double-majored in International Studies and Philosophy. During his time at Guilford, he also studied abroad in London, collaborating with Oxford University.
An accomplished athlete, Jon played tennis at Guilford and achieved All-American status for Division III tennis, as well as All-Academic honors. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC. There, he was part of the Comparative and International Law Institute and expanded his expertise by studying International Business Transactions at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
Upon graduating from law school, Jon was admitted to the Washington, DC Bar Association and practiced with several law firms, concentrating on corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, corporate defense, and patents. After 12 years in Washington, DC, Jon returned to El Paso, drawn by its warm climate and community. He joined his family's law firm, focusing on Family Law, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Complex Business Litigation.
