Raised in Stafford, Texas, Matthew pursued his education with determination, playing football at Tyler Junior College before earning a degree in political science from Baylor University. He further obtained his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston. As a first-generation college graduate, Matthew's tenacity is evident in his professional journey. He initially served as a prosecutor for the Smith County District Attorney’s Office in Tyler, Texas, gaining extensive experience in criminal law. Upon returning to Houston, he refined his courtroom skills at a leading criminal defense firm, setting the stage for his current focus on family law.
