Sean T. Carpenter

Sean T. Carpenter is the Managing Attorney at the Salt Lake City office of Wilner & O’Reilly. He is admitted to practice law in the Utah State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Mr. Carpenter is highly skilled in immigration law, with a focus on family-based immigration, employment-based cases, U-Visas, 601 waivers, and investment-related immigration matters.

Before his current role, Mr. Carpenter gained valuable experience at Thomas and Jefferies, PLLC in Phoenix, Arizona, and worked for the Executive Office for Immigration Review in Eloy and Phoenix, Arizona. His expertise is further demonstrated through his authorship of numerous articles on immigration topics, and he is committed to providing pro bono immigration services to those in need.

Mr. Carpenter earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation from Brigham Young University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During his time in law school, he was a member of the Law Journal and served as an associate editor.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Carpenter is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Intermountain Relocation Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting businesses with employee relocation to and from the United States. He resides in Salt Lake City with his wife and two children.
