Robert Fugal

Robert Fugal, a dedicated attorney based in Orem, Utah, has been a member of the Utah Bar since October 6, 1982. Born in American Fork and raised in Pleasant Grove and Lindon, Utah, Robert graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He pursued higher education at Brigham Young University, earning a bachelor's degree in 1977 and a law degree in 1982.

His legal career began as a law clerk for the Honorable Eckhart A. Thompson, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California. Subsequently, he gained valuable experience as an associate at the bankruptcy law firm of Ryder and Walter in Fresno, CA.

In 1988, Robert returned to Utah and co-founded the firm of Bird & Fugal with Kevin Bird. The firm focuses on assisting clients with debt relief, specializing in Chapters 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies. In response to a decline in bankruptcy filings in 2005, Robert expanded his practice to include estate planning, wills, trusts, healthcare directives, powers of attorney, and tax problem resolution.

Robert is committed to family and community. Together with his wife Eloise, he has successfully navigated the challenges of education and career while raising their children. He actively participates in the care of his 95-year-old father and enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking, swimming, and canoeing. Additionally, he has a keen interest in natural health remedies.
