James D. Livesay, a founding partner at Livesay & Myers, P.C., spearheads the firm’s family law practice across its offices in Fairfax, Arlington, Ashburn, Manassas, and Fredericksburg-Stafford, Virginia. After earning his degree from Virginia Tech in 1995 and graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1998, Mr. Livesay served for three years in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. Transitioning to civilian practice in 2001, he co-founded Livesay & Myers, P.C. with Kevin Myers in 2003.
Leveraging his experience as a Navy JAG officer, Mr. Livesay established and has led the firm's military divorce section since its inception.
