Joshua Erlich

Joshua Erlich specializes in handling both transactional and litigation projects, serving the needs of individuals and small businesses. Before establishing The Erlich Law Office, he was an associate at McTigue & Veis, LLP, where he focused on complex class action litigation, advocating for participants in employee benefit plans.

Mr. Erlich's legal experience includes internships at the Department of Labor's Plan Benefits Security Division and the Department of the Treasury’s Office of the Assistant General Counsel for General Law, Ethics, and Regulation. During law school, he gained valuable experience working at private firms and as a summer associate at O’Donoghue & O’Donoghue, LLP.

He earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center and holds a Certificate of Employee Benefits Law from the same institution. At Georgetown, Mr. Erlich was a Legal Research and Writing Fellow and contributed as a research assistant to Martha Jo Wagner, an adjunct professor specializing in ERISA litigation.

A finalist in the American Bar Association’s Law Student Tax Challenge, LL.M. Division, Mr. Erlich also holds dual B.A. degrees in History and Classics, with a minor in Philosophy, from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, he has been a resident of Arlington since 2006.
