About Morgan Anne Whitlock
Morgan Anne Whitlock, a native of Wilson, North Carolina, began her academic journey at NC State University, where she was an active member of the Wolfpack tennis team. She pursued her law degree at the David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia, earning the Dean’s Cup for her outstanding public service. During her time there, she served on the Student Body Association's Judiciary Committee and assisted in teaching a course on governmental responsibilities during national disasters. In her final year, she completed over 800 hours of pro bono work, representing low-income clients in Washington, D.C.
After earning her degree, Ms. Whitlock joined a personal injury law firm in Virginia, where she developed a strong commitment to advocating for victims of negligence. She later practiced in Washington, D.C., before co-founding Roeser & Whitlock, LLP. In 2017, she established Whitlock Law, LLC, where she continues to represent clients in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, police misconduct, and unsafe property conditions.
Ms. Whitlock has extensive litigation experience in the District and Circuit Courts of Virginia and Maryland. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of both jurisdictions. Her professional affiliations include the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Maryland Association for Justice. As a former Secretary of the Loudoun County Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, she has also volunteered her legal expertise in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Whitlock enjoys camping, reading, and attending sports events. She currently resides in Montgomery County, Maryland.
