Bailey Gifford became a part of Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers in late 2020. Originally from Nebraska and raised in Kentucky, Bailey graduated with honors from Central Hardin High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Business, graduating magna cum laude from Morehead State University in 2016.
Bailey pursued her legal education at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia, where she obtained her J.D. in 2020. During her time there, she demonstrated leadership as the president of the Student Bar Association. She also contributed as a Student Ambassador and participated in both the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, gaining valuable advocacy experience.
While in law school, Bailey clerked for The Honorable Elizabeth A. McClanahan, formerly of the Supreme Court of Virginia, and gained practical insights by working at a private law firm in Grundy, VA.
Outside of her professional life, Bailey enjoys exploring the Hampton Roads area with her husband, Kaleb. She is enthusiastic about establishing her roots in Virginia and considers it her new home.
