Mr. Michael P. Tittermary

Michael P. Tittermary is a dedicated trial attorney practicing in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He graduated with distinction from the Virginia Military Institute in 2005, earning a B.A. in Economics and Business. He then pursued his legal education at the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he obtained his J.D. in 2009.

During his final year of law school, Michael served as a student prosecutor with the Chesterfield County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. In this role, he gained valuable courtroom experience by conducting motions, hearings, and trials in both general district and circuit courts. He also authored appellate briefs for the Virginia Court of Appeals on behalf of the Commonwealth.

Following law school, Michael served as a Law Clerk for the judges of the Hanover County Circuit Court. His responsibilities included performing in-depth legal research and drafting numerous opinions that contributed to civil, criminal, and appellate decisions.

In private practice, Michael focuses entirely on trial litigation, with particular expertise in personal injury, family law, civil litigation, and criminal defense. He is an active member of the Virginia Bar and Hanover County Bar Associations.

Outside of his legal practice, Michael is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending quality time with his family on the Chesapeake Bay and Eastern Shore of Virginia.
