Laura Helen Fitzgibbon

Laura Helen Fitzgibbon leads Malone Legal, PLLC as its owner and managing attorney. Originally from Ireland, Laura grew up in the Seattle area and identifies as a Seattleite. She earned her bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy from Gonzaga University, followed by a law degree from Seattle University School of Law.

Laura's career began in litigation, with significant time spent in the courtroom. After law school, she served as a public defender in Island County before transitioning to a role as a criminal prosecutor. This position allowed her to gain extensive trial and motions experience, including conducting law enforcement trainings, making charging decisions, drafting warrants, and representing the public in court.

In 2019, Laura shifted her focus to family law, acquiring valuable experience at both Goldberg & Jones and Wakefield Legal before founding her own firm. She regularly appears on family law motions calendars and has conducted numerous family law trials.

Laura's courtroom experience has honed her advocacy skills, providing her with insights into judicial decision-making that benefit her clients' case strategies. Known for her diligent advocacy and exemplary work product, Laura has built a strong reputation among her peers.

Beyond her professional achievements, Laura is dedicated to her clients, known for her compassion and responsiveness. As a new mother, she understands the importance of child custody matters and strives to respond to client communications within 24 business hours.
