Michelle M Hockers

Michelle M. Hockers is a highly skilled attorney located in Brookfield, Wisconsin, with a strong focus on litigation. She earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in May 2015, graduating magna cum laude. During her time in law school, Michelle was an active member of the Moot Court Association, participating in the Jenkins Honors Moot Court Competition and serving on the Executive Board as Associate Justice for National Competitions. She also competed in the National Moot Court Competition regional at Marquette.

In her third year, Michelle gained practical courtroom experience through an internship with the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office in the Milwaukee County Trial Division. Her academic excellence was recognized with five CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Appellate Writing and Advocacy, Civil Pretrial Practice, Mediation Advocacy, Negotiation Workshop, and Comparative Criminal Law and Procedure in Spanish. Additionally, she was a St. Thomas More Scholar and volunteered at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, earning membership in the Pro Bono Society for completing over 50 hours of community service in Milwaukee.

Before attending law school, Michelle was a Pre-Law Scholar at Marquette University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature in July 2013, graduating magna cum laude. Beyond her legal practice, she actively participates in the West Bend Community and Alumni Scholarship Foundation, supporting scholarships for West Bend High School students. Michelle is also a member of the UPAF Next Gen group, promoting the performing arts in the Milwaukee area.
