Jean Brown

Jean Brown brings over 25 years of dedicated service to accident victims, focusing on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Her practice encompasses extensive trial, settlement, and appellate experience across complex and multi-district cases. In 2011, she was honored as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in Personal Injury Plaintiff: General, as featured in Milwaukee Magazine. Additionally, she was named a “Top 100 Trial Lawyer” in Wisconsin for Civil Plaintiff’s work by the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2013, and she currently holds a “Superb” rating from Avvo.

Jean graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 1989, where she excelled academically, ranking in the top ten percent of her class. Her academic journey was marked by numerous awards and participation in moot court competitions. Prior to law school, she graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986, majoring in Behavioral Science and Law and Criminal Justice.

She is licensed to practice in Wisconsin State and Federal District Courts, as well as the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago. Her professional affiliations include the State Bar of Wisconsin, The National Trial Lawyers Association, the Waukesha County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association for Justice. Jean has served on the board of the Wisconsin Association of Trial Lawyers and its Constitutional Challenge Committee, actively opposing legislative tort reforms that could undermine personal injury victims' rights.

Outside of her professional life, Jean enjoys spending time with her family on their hobby farm in Oconomowoc, where she lives with her husband and two children.
