AnnaMarie Lynn Mitchell

AnnaMarie Lynn Mitchell is a distinguished tax attorney based in Bradenton, Florida. She began her academic journey at Florida State University, majoring in History and Economics. Her career in law was inspired by her work at the South Florida personal injury firm, Bogani & Robes, PLLC, where she witnessed the transformative power of legal advocacy.

Driven by a commitment to justice, Ms. Mitchell pursued her legal education at St. Thomas University School of Law. There, she excelled as a merit scholarship recipient, consistently earning a spot on the Dean’s List. She served as the Articles Editor for the Law Review and was actively involved in Moot Court, both as a competitor and coach. Additionally, she contributed to the community as a site coordinator for the Volunteer Income Taxpayer Assistance (VITA) program, ensuring compliance with IRS guidelines.

Graduating Cum Laude, Ms. Mitchell also earned a Graduate Certificate in Taxation. Her passion for the field led her to the University of Florida Levin College of Law Graduate Tax Program, where she completed her LL.M. in Taxation. Her studies focused on estate planning, international tax, corporate tax, entity formation, and gift taxation.

In 2013, Ms. Mitchell took on the role of Tax Clinic Director at Gulfcoast Judicial Services, where she managed tax issues for clients across Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, and DeSoto counties. She is licensed to represent individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service, the IRS Office of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.
