Carolyn (formerly McAlister) Geary

Carolyn Geary, Esq., is at the helm of McAlister Law Firm, LLC in Gulfport, Mississippi. Her client-centered approach involves understanding each client's unique needs to guide them through their legal options and decisions. Carolyn provides both legal and personal support, backed by her extensive experience in high-stakes divorce cases and complex family estate planning.

With over 22 years of legal expertise, Carolyn began her career as a staff attorney for several judges, gaining insight into the legal process from multiple perspectives. Her background includes significant experience as an insurance defense attorney, which equips her with knowledge of how insurance companies operate during personal injury cases.

Carolyn's legal journey started with her first practice in Florence, Alabama, after which she transitioned to a role as regional manager for Mississippi Center Legal Service, focusing on family law. This position enriched her legal acumen and experience.

Since moving away from large law firms, Carolyn has practiced as a general litigation attorney, covering family law, criminal defense, wills and estate planning, and appellate law. In 2019, she received the Top 10 Attorney Award in Mississippi from National Family Law Attorneys, Inc.

Outside her legal practice, Carolyn resides in Gulfport, Mississippi, with her husband, Mikey Davis, and their son, James. She is an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she teaches first-grade catechism every Sunday.
