About Josh Reinitz
Josh Reinitz serves as Of Counsel at the Aretsky Law Group, bringing extensive experience in defending clients against DWI and criminal charges across New Jersey. Previously, he was a partner at Iacullo Martino & Reinitz, LLC in Nutley. He is a graduate of Rutgers College and Rutgers School of Law – Newark.
After law school, Josh clerked for Hon. Eugene H Austin, J.S.C., in Bergen County. He is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in New Jersey. His legal expertise is concentrated on defending clients in Municipal and Superior Courts throughout the state.
In 2019, Josh was awarded the Municipal Court Practitioner of the Year by his peers at the State Bar. He is currently serving a second term as an elected Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and has chaired the Municipal Court Practice Section. Notably, he was among the first 21 attorneys certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Municipal Court Trial Attorney and now chairs the Certification Committee for Municipal Court Attorneys.
Josh's accolades include the New Leader of the Bar Award from the New Jersey Law Journal in 2016, recognizing top attorneys under 40. He was appointed by Chief Justice Rabner to the Supreme Court’s Municipal Court Practice Committee and the Working Group on Municipal Court Reform.
His professional involvement extends to the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Legislation & Judicial Administration Committee and serving as Amicus counsel in significant municipal court matters. Josh has also served as a Municipal Prosecutor and Public Defender and was a Fellow in the New Jersey State Bar Association Leadership Academy.
Additionally, he has been a member of the Office of Attorney Ethics Fee Arbitration Committee for District V-C and is currently in his second term as Deputy Mayor in the Borough of Fair Lawn.
