About Ross R. Anzaldi
Ross R. Anzaldi, formerly of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, joined Lindabury in October 2009. With over 18 years on the bench, he served in significant roles such as Presiding Judge in the Civil Division and Acting Assignment Judge and Chancellor of Union County.
Judge Anzaldi has presided over a multitude of jury and non-jury trials and thousands of settlement conferences. In the Law Division, he handled diverse cases, including auto and personal injury, insurance, construction law, LAD, CEPA, and partnership dissolutions. He also dealt with environmental insurance allocation and was pivotal in cases under the New Jersey Spill Act.
Before his judicial career, Judge Anzaldi practiced privately. He was a partner at Diamond, Pitman, Grossman & Anzaldi in Union, New Jersey, from 1974 to 1978, and later at Anzaldi & Bernstein in Summit, New Jersey, from 1980 to 1991. His practice covered litigation, personal injury, commercial, contract, and matrimonial law. He represented corporate clients like Econo-Car and Bak-A-Lum and served as attorney for the City of Summit, the Summit Housing Authority, and as Summit Municipal Prosecutor.
In 2011, Judge Anzaldi expanded his legal expertise by becoming an arbitrator and mediator in the United States District Court and with the American Arbitration Association.
