Michael Robert Rosas

Michael Robert Rosas is a seasoned trial attorney recognized for his adept representation of individuals and businesses in criminal and administrative prosecutions and investigations throughout New York and New Jersey. He has successfully tried both criminal and civil cases to verdict, showcasing his expertise in the courtroom.

Mr. Rosas has handled a wide range of criminal matters from DWI charges to murder. His experience extends to representing clients involved in long-term investigations and facing charges such as racketeering, conspiracy, larceny, embezzlement, and tax violations.

His substantial trial experience was honed during his tenure as an Assistant District Attorney for the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office in New York City. Further refining his skills, Mr. Rosas served as appointed counsel in Mercer County, New Jersey, representing clients charged with murder and other violent crimes.

In 2018, Mr. Rosas was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District Ethics Committee for Middlesex County (DEC VIII) for a four-year term. This committee functions as the investigative and prosecutorial arm of the Supreme Court, overseeing attorney ethics in New Jersey.

Before establishing Rosas & Cirigliano, Mr. Rosas founded The Law Office of Michael Robert Rosas in East Brunswick, New Jersey. His legal career began at a boutique law firm in Newark, New Jersey, where he managed criminal and civil rights cases in both State and Federal courts, advising clients, including municipal entities, through business and internal investigations. His clientele includes government employees such as teachers, police officers, and firefighters.
