Kisha M.S. Hebbon

Kisha M.S. Hebbon began her legal career at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in Hackensack, New Jersey, where she honed her skills in criminal litigation and appellate practice. In the Appellate Section, she managed municipal court appeals involving DWI, traffic violations, harassment, assault, and narcotics possession.

In 2002, Kisha joined the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the Northeast Region. By 2003, she was the sole Staff Attorney at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, the largest federal prison in the country. There, she handled litigation including Bivens complaints, habeas corpus petitions, and Federal Tort Claims related to personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and property loss. She also addressed inmate grievances and advised the Warden and staff on legal matters, ensuring compliance with policy and law. Additionally, Kisha taught Ethics and Standards of Employee Conduct during annual training for new employees.

In 2005, Kisha established the Law Offices of Kisha M. Hebbon, LLC. Her practice spans family, divorce, criminal, real estate, and municipal law, where she has represented hundreds of clients. Kisha excels in litigation and has a passion for trying cases, with a significant track record in appellate cases, thanks to her strong writing and issue-spotting abilities.
