Hilary Peery Vesell

Hilary Peery Vesell is a distinguished trial attorney with a focus on family law matters and civil litigation. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in psychology at Columbia University, followed by a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

Hilary has contributed numerous articles to respected publications such as the Pennsylvania Lawyer and Pennsylvania Bar Association Quarterly. Her writings cover critical topics including mental illness in the legal system, co-parenting in custody cases, prenuptial agreements, parental alienation, and child sexual abuse allegations in custody disputes. Admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania courts, including the United States Federal District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Hilary is also authorized to appear before the Supreme Court of the United States. She holds memberships in the Dauphin County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice, and actively participates in the family law sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association. Notably, she was appointed by the Judges of the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas to serve on the 2019-2020 Arbitration Board.

In addition to her legal career, Hilary is deeply involved in her community. She is a member of the South Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board, the Manada Conservancy Board, and the Cocoa Packs, Inc. Board. Her volunteer work includes the Dauphin County Orphans’ Court Guardianship Pro Bono Monitor Program, and she is a trustee for Ben and Tim Day. Hilary also actively supports the Hershey Food Bank and the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.
