Ron Calhoon

With a strong foundation in labor advocacy, Ron Calhoon has devoted his legal career to defending the rights of workers who have suffered injuries on the job. Raised in a union household, Ron was inspired by his father's leadership as President of a National Labor Union to pursue a career focused on workers' rights.

After earning his degree from Vanderbilt University in 1985, Ron graduated with a law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1988. He is a certified specialist in workers' compensation law, recognized by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

For the past twenty-four years, Ron has successfully represented thousands of clients seeking benefits under the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act. His legal expertise has been instrumental in litigating hundreds of cases, including those of first impression before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and establishing precedent in the Pennsylvania Appellate Courts.

Ron is an active member of the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group. He has also served as Chairman of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation. His commitment to employee rights extends beyond the courtroom, as he frequently lectures on the subject and has played a key role in forming the Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers, where he serves on the Board of Directors.

Recognized for his excellence in practice, Ron has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer as recently as 2014 and for many years prior. His dedication and expertise make him a leading figure in the field of workers' compensation law.
