Lisa S. Johns

Lisa S. Johns earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis, majoring in International Studies. She enhanced her education with two semesters at Nagoya Gakuin University's Institute for Japanese Studies in Seto, Japan, where she focused on Japanese language and culture. Her time in Japan also included teaching English to private students. After returning to the U.S., she balanced full-time work with a full course load, graduating magna cum laude.

At the University of Mississippi School of Law, Ms. Johns was an articles editor for the Journal of National Security Law and a member of the International Law Society. Her academic excellence was recognized with the Outstanding Student Award in International Commercial Arbitration. She also gained valuable experience working in the law school admissions office.

Following her law school graduation, Ms. Johns served as a law clerk for a presiding Justice on the Mississippi Supreme Court in Jackson, Mississippi, where she refined her research and writing skills. She joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz in 2001. Her expertise in handling cases involving minor children injured due to negligence is well-noted. Her article on court approvals for personal injury settlements for minors was published in the Mississippi Bar Journal in 2009.

Ms. Johns has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine from 2008 to 2013. She is admitted to practice law in both Tennessee and Mississippi.
