Dominic Paul Lascara

Dominic P. Lascara hails from Portsmouth, Virginia, and has established a distinguished legal career in Chesapeake. He earned his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1986, following a magna cum laude undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in 1981.

Dominic began his legal career at the law firm of Roy, Forehand, Laine and Dale, P.C. as an associate after his admission to the Virginia State Bar in 1986. By 1987, he was admitted to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. In 1992, he became a partner at Roy, Larsen, Romm & Lascara, P.C.

In 2007, Dominic launched his own practice, focusing on residential and commercial real estate, business and corporate law, contract law, wills, trusts, probate of estates, and elder law. His commitment to client service is evident in his practice's personalized approach.

Dominic is actively involved in his community as a member of the Great Bridge Kiwanis Club, where he has served as a distinguished Past-President and received the George F. Hixon Fellow Award. He also contributes as an Introduction Leader for Landmark Education Corporation, offering innovative training programs.

He is affiliated with the Chesapeake Bar Association and the Virginia Real Estate Attorneys League, and he previously participated in the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association. Dominic has also served on the Advisory Board of Directors for SouthTrust Bank prior to its merger with Wachovia Bank, N.A. in 2006.

In his professional capacity, Dominic has advised the Chesapeake Public School Board on real estate matters and reviewed commercial loans for Central Fidelity Bank. Additionally, he has shared his expertise by teaching real estate contract seminars for the Tidewater Association of Realtors.

Dominic resides in Chesapeake with his wife, Shadi Lascara, and their two children, Michael and Danielle.
