About Kevin Briggs
Kevin Briggs, a native of North Carolina, was raised in Norfolk, Virginia. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Old Dominion University, earning dual degrees in Philosophy and Political Science. Following his graduation, Kevin attended Regent University to study law.
During his time in law school, Kevin actively volunteered with the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia and gained practical experience interning with both the Virginia Beach Public Defender and the Newport News Commonwealth Attorney. After successfully passing the Bar Exam, he began his legal career at the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia, where he adeptly represented clients in landlord/tenant disputes, custody and family law matters, and government benefits cases.
In 2019, Kevin joined Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers to pursue his passion for advocating for those injured due to no fault of their own. His practice is now solely devoted to personal injury law, where he continues to make a positive impact on his clients' lives.
