About Shea Hoxie
Shea Hoxie brings extensive experience from his 12 years of active duty in the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he transitioned to the reserve component as an O-5. His dedication is evident in his representation of servicemembers globally. During his active duty, Shea litigated over a hundred courts-martial and numerous hearings, serving as a prosecutor, defense counsel, legal advisor, and hearing officer. His defense work included representing clients from ranks E-1 to O-8 worldwide, handling high-profile and complex cases.
Shea's legal prowess includes cross-examining hundreds of accusers, law enforcement officers, and commanders, including an O-10. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Baltimore School of Law. In law school, he was selected for the mock trial and negotiation teams and named a litigation fellow at the center for litigation skills. He gained valuable experience working with a Maryland Court of Appeals Judge, a Circuit Court Judge, a leading Criminal Defense firm, and the State’s Attorney.
Before his Air Force service, Shea represented the State in numerous bench trials and clients across all Maryland Courts, including arguments before the Maryland Supreme Court and Maryland Court of Appeals.
