Shelly F Wood

Shelly F Wood has transitioned from running her own successful law firm to becoming the Manager Partner at Parks Zeigler's Chesapeake office. This strategic merger allows her to provide a broad range of legal services while staying connected to her Chesapeake origins. Shelly is enthusiastic about continuing her successful practice with Parks Zeigler.

Graduating from Regent University School of Law in 2001, Shelly was an active participant in the mock trial team and held an officer position with the American Bar Association during her studies. In her third year, she earned a third-year practice license and interned with the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office.

Shelly is married and the mother of three active boys. She dedicates her spare time to community service as a founding member of the King’s Daughters Infinity Circle, an organization that raises funds for the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. With over seven years of involvement, she has contributed more than 500 volunteer hours and chaired numerous projects. Shelly also enjoys traveling, boating, reading, and spending quality time with her extended family and close friends.
