Chen Li

Chen Li is a partner at Vanarelli & Li, LLC in Plainfield, New Jersey. She joined the firm in 2007 as an associate attorney. Chen's practice areas include Estate Planning, Medicaid Asset Protection Planning, Probate, Disability Planning, Special Needs Trust, and Tax Law. As a fluent Mandarin speaker, she effectively communicates with a broad range of clients.

Born in Shanghai, China, Chen immigrated to New York in the late 1980s after finishing high school. She earned her B.A. from Queens College, City University of New York, and her J.D. from St. John’s Law School. Licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey, Chen has been an attorney since 2002, focusing on Wills, Trusts, Estates, Elder Law, and Special Needs Law.

Prior to her legal career, Chen gained valuable experience working for Ernst and Young, LLP, and Dreyfus Realty Advisors in New York City. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Her understanding of the challenges faced by new immigrants allows her to provide insightful legal guidance, especially to clients of Asian backgrounds.
